Tutoruial: right and left increases

In this tutorial I'll try to explain you how to increase knitting stitches to look neat .
Make one right and make one left are increases, which sometimes cause the problems at which side to increase or how to knit them: from front or back?
I do have same problems sometimes especially when I used this technique of increases some time ago. So it will also help me how to knit m1r & m1l.

OK, let's start from make one right (m1r).
Knit the sts to the point where you have to increase, locate the bar of previous row between two sts, this is the bar we will use to make one stitch.

Pick up the bar with left hand needle from back to front.

Knit this stitch through front loop.

When you pick up the bar between the stitches and give it twist, you are pulling a small amount of yarn from the stitches on either side to make the new stitch.

Now make one left (m1l). Again knit to the point where you have to increase the stitchand locate the bar between two stitches.

Pick up the bar with left hand needle from front to back.

Knit this stitch through the back loop.

Even if this way seems to be tricky it forms really neat looking increases.
