Three needle bind off tutorial

Have you ever considered how to join two knitwear pieces together with live stitches being still on the needles? If so, this tutorial below will show you how to make it using 3 knitting needles on live stitches. So without any further ado, let's start. 

 

 1. with wrong sides of both pieces facing, hold your two needles together, insert 3rd needle through the next stitches of both needles at the same time and draw up a loop

 2. pull the yarn through

 

3. again knit one stitch through the next stitches of both needles at the same time, pull the yarn through both sts

 

4. to make 1st bound off stitch, pull the first stitch over the second stitch, just as you would do for a standard bind off

 

5. now you have one st left on 3rd needle 

 

repeat steps 3-5 across row until all sts are bound off
